One of the things I love about New Zealand is that we have these kinds of locations where we can experience what would only be available to the incredibly wealthy overseas.
Dining on the viaduct has always been one of my favorite passtimes and is something I recommend you do, even if it is just to watch the who’s who of NZ as they go by.
It’s a great motivator too because you begin to realise those rich and famous are actually no different to you and I, they just work differently.
So go out there and treat yourself to a Touch of Venice right here in New Zealand and rub shoulders with some of the kiwis who have already unlocked the keys of “rich mastery”.
A touch of Venice is about to hit Auckland as plans progress for a new canal to be dug through the centre of Aucklands Wynyard Quarter. The canal is to be flanked by wide public walkways, shops, apartments, cafes and restaurants.Rod Marler, Waterfront Auckland development general manager, said the trench for water could be about 5m to 8m wide and run 150m to 200m long, but have wide street edges and walkways either side, creating a public space which could be about 20m wide.
